After walking the long stretch of Crane Beach in Ipswich, Massachusetts, then rounding the bend at the far end, I came across this scene and it almost took my breath away. The stunning far off distance of multicolored beach grass blanketing white sand seemed to roll toward me in a rush. I took it all in and let it fill me. I wanted to remember every aspect and record it all on canvas, so that others could feel the presence of nature at one of its special moments.
