Welcome

This scene is of a restaurant from the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, called Niagara- on-the-Lake. I was attracted to the decor, which has a European flare, and contained all the elements to make a beautiful painting: decorative lamps, ambient lighting, floral displays, the red umbrella pulling you to the background, the orange stained building in the back drawing you in farther still. And due to the construction of decking posts and lamps, the scene also has an interesting composition, which guides your eye to roam around the painting.
