Stepping Out

This is another part of a series of paintings featuring a little girl in an oversize hat. it was a hot summer day when I spotted her running into and out of the water, her hat flopping, and her stripped summer dress flowing with her movements. To me she was the epitome of innocence, lost in her  own world of summertime fun.

Painting size 20x14, oil on linen.
